Our core offering is a comprehensive, white-glove "Placement Service" designed to match you with the perfect assistant. This is not a subscription or an ongoing agency model. Our service includes a deep-dive consultation, our rigorous vetting process, and a 90-day managed trial period to ensure a successful partnership before you commit long-term.
How do you vet your assistants?

What kind of tasks can my assistant handle?
Our assistants are skilled in a wide range of household and personal administrative tasks. Common areas of support include managing complex calendars, scheduling appointments, handling online shopping and returns, researching travel and activities, and general life organization. During your onboarding consultation, we will work with you to create a detailed role description tailored to your specific needs.
How does the 90-day trial period work?
The 90-day trial is our "Prove It First" guarantee. During this period, you work with your top-matched assistant while we provide hands-on management, weekly check-ins, and guided support. This allows you to confirm with complete confidence that the match is right before paying the final placement fee. We handle all payments to the assistant during this time to ensure a simple and professional experience for you.
Does my hourly rate change if I need more hours?
No, the rate of $9.25 USD per hour remains the same whether you need 10, 20, or 40 hours of support per week.
We believe in a simple and transparent pricing structure. This flat rate applies to all hours worked during the 90-day managed trial and includes your assistant's salary, our payment processing, and our hands-on support and oversight. This $9.25 does not increase. The only exception is if you ask your VA to work on a local, legal holiday then the rate is $13.88 per hour (or you may have them switch hours to another day to keep the usual rate).
What happens if I'm not happy with the assistant during the trial?
Our rigorous vetting process makes this rare, but our primary goal is your long-term satisfaction. We first will try to provide constructive feedback for the VA so they can better match your needs. If the issue persists during the 90-day trial and it becomes clear the match is not the right fit, we will work with you to initiate a new search to find a replacement candidate (at no additional engagement fee).
Are the assistants employees of Havenly Helpers™?
No. We are a placement agency that facilitates long-term, independent contractor relationships. After a successful 90-day trial, you "graduate" to a direct partnership, paying your assistant their hourly rate directly. Your assistant is a self-employed professional responsible for their own taxes.
What happens at the end of the 90 days?
The end of the 90-day managed trial marks a successful milestone we call the "Graduation." Assuming you are happy with your assistant and wish to continue the partnership, you will pay the one-time modest Success Fee to officially finalize the long-term placement. This concludes our intensive onboarding service.
While our hands-on daily management concludes, our commitment to your success does not. We transition from being your onboarding manager to your long-term strategic partner. We remain available for ongoing support, annual performance reviews, or to help you find additional assistants as your needs grow.
